Qualitative and quantitative composition

The active ingredient is Sodium Chloride Ph.Eur. Sodium Chloride contains not less than 99.0 per cent and not more than 100.5 per cent of NaCl. One coated tablet contains 600 mg sodium chloride.

Sodium chloride	Sodium chloride is the principle salt involved in maintaining the osmotic tension of blood and tissues. Changes in osmotic tension influence the movement of fluids and diffusion of salts in cellular tissue.
