Active ingredient

Levodropropizine

Levodropropizine acts directly on the peripheral respiratory sensory nerves rather than affecting the central nervous system. It suppresses the cough reflex by inhibiting the activation of vagal C-fibers and tracheobronchial receptor excitability. It prevents the release of Substance P and other sensory neuropeptides from nerve endings, reducing nerve sensitivity and calming the cough reflex.
