Indication for Sotrovimab

Population group: only adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Sotrovimab is indicated for the treatment of adults and adolescents (aged 12 years and over and weighing at least 40 kg) with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) who do not require oxygen supplementation and who are at increased risk of progressing to severe COVID-19.

Detailed description

The recommended dose is a single 500 mg intravenous infusion administered following dilution.

Dosage considerations

Prime the infusion set and administer as a single IV infusion for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Treatment must not be administered as an intravenous push or bolus.
