Active Ingredient: Verapamil
The treatment and prophylaxis of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia and the reduction of the ventricular rate in atrial fibrillation/flutter. Verapamil should not be used for atrial fibrillation/flutter in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.

Oral
120 - 360 mg
From 40 To 120 mg 3 time(s) per day every day
40-120 mg three times daily depending on the severity of the condition.
Intravenous
5 - 15 mg
From 5 To 15 mg once every day

5-10 mg by slow intravenous injection over a period of 2 minutes. The patient should be observed continuously, preferably under ECG and blood pressure control. If necessary, e.g. in paroxysmal tachycardia, a further 5 mg may be given after 5 to 10 minutes.
