Oral, in total between 1 milligrams spironolactone per kilogram of body weight and 7 milligrams spironolactone per kilogram of body weight, daily to meals. The maximum allowed total dose is 7 milligrams spironolactone per kilogram of body weight daily.
Up to a maximum of 7 mg/kg daily may be used.
Neonates should only be treated under guidance of a paediatric specialist. There is limited paediatric data available.
Spironolactone should be taken together with a meal.
For:
