Dosage forms, composition and packaging

INHIBACE (cilazapril) is available in film-coated tablets containing:

  • 2.5 mg cilazapril – pinkish-brown, oval shaped, single scored biconvex tablets, imprinted CIL 2,5. Available in bottles of 100 tablets and blister packs of 28 tablets.1
  • 5 mg cilazapril – reddish-brown, oval shaped, single scored biconvex tablets, imprinted CIL 5. Available in bottles of 100 tablets and blister packs of 28 tablets.1

INHIBACE 2.5 mg and 5 mg film-coated tablets contain 2.5 mg and 5 mg anhydrous cilazapril, as cilazapril monohydrate, respectively. Non-medicinal ingredients: the tablets also contain lactose monohydrate, cornstarch, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, talc, sodium stearyl fumarate and titanium dioxide. Iron oxide is present as the colouring agent in the 2.5 mg and 5 mg tablets.
