Pirodal 2.5 mg tablets.

Pharmaceutical Form

Pirodal 2.5 mg tablets are white, round, flat, scored tablets with a diameter of 7 mm.

Qualitative and quantitative composition

Pirodal contain 2.5 mg bromocriptine as bromocriptine mesylate.

Excipient with known effect: lactose monohydrate. Each tablet contains 100mg lactose monohydrate.

Active Ingredient Description
Bromocriptine

Bromocriptine is an inhibitor of prolactin secretion and a stimulator of dopamine receptors. The areas of application of bromocriptine are divided into endocrinological and neurological indications.

List of Excipients

Pirodal contain lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch
glycollate, magnesium stearate, maleic acid and disodium edetate.

Pack sizes and marketing

Polyvinylchloride and aluminium combination blisters. Blisters and leaflet in an outer carton.

Pirodal 2.5 mg tablets are available in packs of 30, 100 or 500 tablets.

Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
