Brepocitinib is a Janus kinase (JAK) and tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) inhibitor. The JAK family comprises cytoplasmic tyrosine kinases that mediate signal transduction of cytokine receptors to influence immune cell function. The relevance of inhibition of specific JAK combinations to therapeutic effectiveness is not known.
