Active ingredient description

Calcium lactate is used as an antacid and in calcium deficiency to treat hypocalcaemia. It can be absorbed at various pHs, thus it does not need to be taken with food. Calcium lactate is an antidote for soluble fluoride ingestion16: p165  and hydrofluoric acid.
