Therapeutic indications

Codeine and Paracetamol is indicated for:

Moderate to severe pain

Population group: only adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Paracetamol/codeine combination is recommended for the relief of migraine, headache, dental pain, period pain, backache, arthritic & rheumatic pain, strains & sprains and sciatica.

Codeine is indicated in patients older than 12 years of age for the treatment of acute moderate pain which is not considered to be relieved by other analgesics such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin (alone).
