Prevention of venous thromboembolic events (VTE) in immobilised patients

Contraindications

Fondaparinux is contraindicated in the following cases:

Bleeding

Bleeding

Acute bacterial endocarditis

Acute bacterial endocarditis

Severe renal impairment defined by creatinine clearance <20 ml/min
