Therapeutic indications

Gadobenic acid is indicated for:

Magnetic resonance imaging of liver with contrast

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Gadobenic acid is a paramagnetic contrast agent for use in diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the liver in adults and children (above the age of 2 years).

Gadobenic acid should be used only when diagnostic information is essential and not available with unenhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and when delayed phase imaging is required.

Gadobenic acid is contraindicated in the following cases:

History of allergic or adverse reactions to other gadolinium chelates
