Contraindications

Imidapril is contraindicated in the following cases:

Pregnancy

Hereditary, idiopathic angioedema

Renal failure (creatinine clearance <10 ml/min)

Renal failure stage 5: Kidney failure (GFR <15 mL/min/1.73 m2 or dialysis)

Angioneurotic oedema associated with ACE inhibitor therapy

at least one of
Drug-induced angioedema-urticaria
Drug-aggravated angio-oedema-urticaria
and additionally ACE inhibitors, plain

Aliskiren and diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR <60 ml/min/1.73 m²)
