Therapeutic indications

Mupirocin is indicated for:

Infection of skin

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Mupirocin is indicated for the topical treatment of secondarily infected traumatic lesions such as small lacerations, sutured wounds or abrasions (up to 10 cm in length or 100 cm² in area), due to susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.
