Polyvidone interacts in the following cases:

Chloramphenicol, chlorobutanol, benzyl alcohol, hydroxybenzoates

The aqueous solutions of the active substance PVP form complexes with the following substances: chloramphenicol, chlorobutanol, benzyl alcohol and hydroxybenzoates, so partial inactivation may occur. High concentrations of salts may cause PVP active substance to precipitate from aqueous solutions.
