Therapeutic indications

Saccharomyces boulardii is indicated for:

Prevention and treatment of diarrhea

Population group: only children (1 year - 12 years old) , adolescents (12 years - 18 years old) , adults (18 years old or older)

Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 is indicated for the prevention and treatment of diarrhea of different etiologies in adults and children, such as:

  • treatment of acute infectious diarrhea of adults and children;
  • prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated colitis and diarrhea;
  • addition to vancomycine/metronidazole treatment to prevent recurrence of Clostridium difficile diseases;
  • prevention of tube-feeding associated diarrhea.
