Active Ingredient: Ciprofloxacin
Inhalation anthrax postexposure curative treatment for persons requiring parenteral treatment. Drug administration should begin as soon as possible after suspected or confirmed exposure.
Use in humans is based on in-vitro susceptibility data and on animal experimental data together with limited human data. Treating physicians should refer to national and/or international consensus documents regarding the treatment of anthrax.

Intravenous
20 - 30 mg per kg of body weight
From 10 To 15 mg per kg of body weight 2 time(s) per day every day for 60 day(s)
10 mg/kg body weight twice daily to 15 mg/kg body weight twice daily with a maximum of 400 mg per dose for 60 days from the confirmation of Bacillus anthracis exposure.
Infusion time is 60 minutes for 400 mg of ciprofloxacin and 30 minutes for 200 mg of ciprofloxacin. Slow infusion into a large vein will minimise patient discomfort and reduce the risk of venous irritation.
Oral
20 - 30 mg per kg of body weight
