Active ingredient description
The mechanism of action of cipepofol for induction of general anesthesia in adults undergoing surgery is poorly understood. However, cipepofol is thought to produce anesthetic effects by the positive modulation of the inhibitory function of the neurotransmitter GABA through ligand-gated GABAA receptors.
