Contraindications

Escitalopram is contraindicated in the following cases:

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO-inhibitors)

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)

QT interval prolongation or congenital long QT syndrome

Prolonged QT interval
Risk factors that increase the risk of QT prolongation
