Active ingredient description

Nifurtimox is an antiprotozoal drug. It is used in pediatric patients for the treatment of Chagas disease (American Trypanosomiasis) caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. Nifurtimox exposure-response relationships and the time course of pharmacodynamics response are unknown.
