Contraindications

Loperamide is contraindicated in the following cases:

Acute dysentery

Dysenteric diarrhea

Acute ulcerative colitis

Acute ulcerative colitis

Bacterial enterocolitis caused by invasive organisms including Salmonella, Shigella and Campylobacter
